Target has just announced that its iOS application will enable Passbook capabilities. Target shoppers who download coupons digitally can now save their coupons in one place on the Target app. Target is one of the first few retailers to offer this service, with Walgreens also in the select group of stores. Target was one of the first major retail stores to offer scannable digital coupons in 2010 and seems to be positioning themselves as a digital-friendly store when mobile wallets become more prevalent.
