During fashion week, fashion label Rebecca Minkoff gained 68,500 fans across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google+. Between September 5th and September 9th, Minkoff began using live streams of the show, Google + hangouts, backstage feeds, Twitter and Instagram giveaways, and bloggers to increase awareness for the brand. The large social push is an effort  to increase in-store and e-commerce transactions, while noting what is being discussed about their products in order to push out products their consumers want.
