Purina is asking the nation the age-old question: Is America a Cat Country or a Dog Country? The debate kicked-off on September 17th and is being executed through the America’s Pet Debate website and social media channels. The campaign offers users the chance to vote for their favorite pet, share their pet stories, take a Cat vs. Dogs quiz and more, all while helping a great cause. Users can vote once a day on the Facebook page or on the website and for every vote, Purina will give a dollar to Pet Partners’ Veteran Programs. Purina is using social media to spread the word and get as many people to vote as possible. Throughout the website, the user is prompted to vote, comment, share or tweet about their views on the pet debate.
