Luxury auto-maker, Lexus, has launched a multichannel marketing campaign for the 2013 Lexus ES. In addition to television ads, print, out-of-home and social media, Lexus is creating their own branded Flipbook magazine and running ads in Esquire’s Flipboard channels. Lexus is using the news aggregating mobile app to showcase the car’s features and reach a younger, tech-savvy audience. According to Lexus, the branded Flipboard is the first from any auto-maker and will pull content from their Twitter and Facebook posts. Utilizing Flipboard, Lexus is reaching a highly engaged and social audience on their mobile phones or tablets.
