After hitting 300 million users last month, LinkedIn has been working to find a way to make their service a little more addictive. The ‘Who’s Viewed Your Profile’ section, is currently one of the most popular pages on the site. To add to this already popular feature, LinkedIn will now provide you with a ranking, comparing your profile to others within your company and across your entire social network. The basis of this ranking comes from the number of profile views during the previous 30 days. There is a competitive edge to this new addition, allowing you to also view where your colleagues and connections fall in the ranking. This is intended to provide users with data to inspire them to become more active on the social network. Alongside the ranking information, is an “easy way to get more views” section, providing tips and tricks on how to gain more profile views and in turn, move up on the list. The profile ranking feature puts the competitive nature of the business world front and center. To learn more, visit Mashable.
