The Home Depot’s latest Pinterest campaign has launched a full series of “Built-In Pins” focused on not only inspiring, but activating, home improvers by showing the entire DIY process in quick, time-lapse videos.

This campaign utilizes video, imagery and interactive 360-degree VR shopping experiences that allow consumers to directly purchase items needed to recreate the completed DIY project they are viewing. Every aspect of the campaign is tailored to Pinterest’s mobile platform dimensions, specifically targeting on-the-go DIYers.

In a platform that is bombarded with beautiful “after shots” of complicated home DIYs, Home Depot is able to make complicated DIY projects look easy and move consumers to purchase by convincing them that their own projects could be just as simple and fun-filled.
